Dr. McKenzie entered the healthcare field as a graduate from Jamaica Ministry of Health School Dentist and auxiliary training program. She was among the first batch of scholarship recipient students, who entered the pilot project. After a clinical refreshers course in Dental Hygiene, she received her Dental Hygiene License from The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) in 1983. She received her Homeopathic Medical Training (DHMS) from the Hahnemann College of Homeopathic Medicine –Toronto, Canada. She is a Licensed Doctor of Homeopathy (HD) Medicine with the Homeopathic Medical Council of Canada (HMCC); she received her acupuncture training from, Oxydontal Acupuncture Institute in Montreal Canada, and the Biomedical Acupuncture Institute in Colorado. She is a Registered Medical Acupuncturist with the Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (CSCMA), Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with the College of Dental Hygienist of Ontario (CDHO) and the National Society of Dental Hygienist. She has been teaching professional development seminars and conducting workshops for healthcare practitioners and corporate wellness seminars since 1999.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Author of two books: “Oral Health – a Layman’s Guide” and Natural Home Medicine Cabinet”. I have been featured on WTN beyond Medicine show and talk 640 Natural Health Radio Show.
- Contributing writer to numerous health and wellness publications, including Alive Magazine, Vitality Magazine and Lifestyle and Wellness Magazine.
- Lecture and conduct health seminars and workshops to small groups as well as large companies. Some companies I have lectured to include – Eli Lilly, Liberty Mutual, Toronto East District School Board, Centennial College, Blue Cross of Canada and many others.
- Presenter at the World Congress of Natural Medicine (WONM), Congress on Humanitarian Medicine in Ecuador, Bahamas-USA and the Middle East.
- Founder of WONM Clinics for Humanity Canada, Co-Founder Clinics for Humanity International and World Organization of Natural Medicine (Public Health Department under the International Parliament for Safety and Peace).

INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN ACTIVITIES
My first experience with humanitarian healthcare was as a student of Dental healthcare Training Program under the auspicious of Jamaica Ministry of Health Dental Training Program.
During my senior year in training, I was given the opportunity to observe Dentists and Physicians of Humanitarian Medicine at work on the SS Her majesty’s Hope Medical Ship. That left an indelible impression on my consciousness which was coupled with my Christian background and a burning desire to be involved in humanitarian medicine to help suffering humanity.
In March 2003, I was appointed as Public Health Diplomat under the International parliament for Safety. I was assigned also assigned the task of helping to establish humanitarian health care facilities in developing countries.
In October 2003, I established the World Organization as an International NGO as extension of the Public Health Department under the International parliament for Safety and Peace.
The focus of the organization is the restoration and effective delivery of traditional and natural health care geared towards the poor.
2007 was re-appointed by IPSP
Under the Department for International Problems of Public Welfare as Vice Minister to the Minister of Health Somalia.

In August 2008, I went to Lebanon as part of my appointed duties to meet with several heads of the Lebanese and Syrian Government to help establish the First University of Humanitarian Medicine and WONM Embassy in Lebanon.

I also contribute over 100 hours of free community outreach service to “Clinics for Humanity” Program in local and international communities, yearly – as Deputy Minister for Politics of Protection of Family and International Community under the International parliament for Safety and Peace (IPSP).

I established the WONM FOUNDATION CANADA in October 2006 in the City of Toronto.
The Mission of WONM Foundation is to develop community support and treatment centres known as “Clinics for Humanity”, which focus on providing Free Addiction Management and emotional support healthcare services geared towards poor abused women.
